Job Vacancy - Large Format Print & Sign Technician
We are currently at an important stage of development and are looking for a new member of staff to help the company move forward. The successful applicant will be required to carry out general large format print and sign making duties, including installations from our Liverpool City Centre workshop.
The applicant should have the following skills:
* Signage industry knowledge is essential;
* Experience of vinyl cutting, large format printing, laminating and mounting;
* Experience of vinyl application including vehicle livery;
* The ability to ensure the machinery is properly maintained;
* General knowledge of foamex, perspex and aluminium composite fabrication;
* Experience of interior and exterior sign assembly, built up letters, neon & LED's;
* Basic knowledge of either Omega, CorelDraw, Photoshop or Illustrator;
* Experience of sign installation;
* Ability to work at heights;
* Motivational and able to develop the manufacturing unit to achieve significantly improved levels of operational effectiveness in quality, cost and delivery;
* Good communication skills within a small team;
* H&S policy awareness;
* Full UK driving licence;
* Overtime and weekend work will be required occasionally.
* Willing to travel and work away occasionally.
